The Tweed Run 2015

I've been spending a few days with family and friends and attempting a Digital Detox. With the occasional Instagram moment, like yesterday's splendid Tweed Run:



The Tweed Run is an annual 10-mile cycle ride around London where the participants get kitted out in their finest tweed togs and a donation (of the entry fee) is made to the London Cycle Campaign.

There were tandems and Penny Farthings and tons of tweed. And it's all for a very good cause.

    This is great - what a stylish groups of cyclists! I was feeling nostalgic about the 1970s and the song "Riding Around On A Pushbike" see my post http://www.thehipsterette.com.au/wordpress/?p=8456 - does anyone remember this?

    That's awesome. Love the outfits. We have a "Tartan Run" here. It's in Perth (Ontario, Canada... not Scotland) ...and it's a ten km run with everyone wearing tartan kilts. Love it too.

    Its easy for me to disconnect, I just leave the house! Hooray for not having a smart phone, tablet and whatever else normal people own.
    Love this, how cool is the lady in the heels, she must be the inspiration for the poster surely? xxx
