That's me at the Boden Hangout wearing more colour and make up than ever before. For someone who usually spends their life in neutrals, I felt surprisingly comfortable at saturation point. Funny, eh? Must be the
Sue Kreitzman Effect. Next to me are the lovely Christine from
Fash n Chips (best name for a blog, ever) and to her left, Laura Fantacci from
Red magazine and
Wearing it Today.
Are you courageous with colour - or do you shy away from vibrant shades?
i love playing with colors! neutral colors, muted colors, bright colors. and patterns. like my mood strikes :-)
ReplyDeleteI shy away from color! But I know I need to give it more of a go. Same with make-up, I am a lazy one. You all look terrific.
ReplyDeleteI love great flashes of colour on a neutral palette. By investing more in quality neutrals, you can afford to have fun with colour and discover the colours that suit you before spending too much on a mistake. This is why I love cowls aka infinity scarves this winter - nothing but bright colour!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color on you!

I like bright color in simple doses. And I liove a bright lipstick if everything else is neutral.

The colours look stunning on you.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!! I know it can feel weird to step out of the neutral zone but it's working for you.
ReplyDeleteLove to see you in colours, it looks great and fresh! I know how you feel and I always get lovely feedback when I am wearing colours...

Hi there! Love this look on you, the sweater is a fabulous pop of colour and really suits you xxx
ReplyDeleteYou look glorious!
ReplyDeletewow....you look utterly fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteI definitely wear a lot of black but lately I've been adding more colour. I find that it makes me look happier and younger. In a few years I suspect I will look like a crayola box.
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome...this is a great color for you...I love the photo!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in those brights! I'm a little colour-shy myself. I find that my miniscule wardrobe works best with neutrals that can all go with each other. However, I have started wearing more makeup recently, including red lippy, I think mainly because I've had my hair all shorn off again, and my face seems to need it!
ReplyDeleteShy.
ReplyDeleteBut you look great.
You do look wonderful, and most important you look like you like the way you look. Could this be a new you???
ReplyDeleteYou look so happy and gorgeous - glorious technicolour reflects your wicked personality perfectly so well. Embrace it! x
ReplyDeleteYou do look gorgeous in that outfit. Are these colours you would consider adding to your wardrobe?
ReplyDeleteIm a neutrals girls with a the occasional splash of red, coral or cobalt. Generally, I feel most like myself in black:)
You look lovely! Yes, colour all the way for me - I can cope with black, but grey is drab, and beige makes me want to cry! xxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to be "hanging out at Boden!" And I agree with all above, you look mahhhvelous. I am a neutral girl, but can't resist yellow and orange. You will find flashes of it in many things I wear. Those colors just cheer me up.
ReplyDeleteI own mostly black gray and white but find myself recently being drawn to reds and purples. I've gone in and out on colors before and wondering if this new color need for me is due to a new residence and less stressful circumstances. Something to consider.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely add a few brights to your wardrobe...totally wakes up your face. You look lovely.
I LOVE your whole outfit(especially the top) and you all ladies look stunning:) xo
ReplyDeleteYou were meant to live life in colour. You look wonderful in it. xxxx
ReplyDeleteLove the color, love the earrings. love the self confident expression!! You look like you're having fun! Maybe I WILL buy that dark pink sweater I've been considering.
