How to look more youthful (and it doesn't involve Botox and surgery)

There's a great feature on looking youthful in today's Telegraph and (brace yourselves for another shameless plug), Style Forever gets a mention. I am double chuffed because a) it's written by Lisa Armstrong one of my favourite fashion journalists and b) the Telegraph has used my favourite illustration from the book. Double Denim, yeah. If you'd like to see some more of Leo Greenfield's lovely illustrations, there's a small excerpt from my Grown-up Style Tribes chapter on the Fenwick website HERE.

We're in Paris having a much-needed break. Wishing you all a very Happy Easter.

  5. ...also love your Style Tribe link from your book I've pre-ordered. My dear AW, as you might guess GSL is not a patient man and as many a customer service rep can attest, I don't like being put on 'hold'. This September 1st USA release date just won't do!!!

  6. I love Lisa's column, let me know if you come over the wall for a book signing.
Re botox/surgery, I really don't think it ever makes anyone look younger, maybe a more 'refined' version of themselves but if that's their choice...who am I to judge?

  7. Love your Style Tribes and glad I don't have to pick just one!

  8. Used judiciously, I think Botox can make you look less careworn. It's just wrong,in my moral/aesthetic/ curmudgeonly opinion, to freeze-frame your face.

  10. Paris - a great place to unwind and enjoy the festivities of Easter.
Your book sold out before I was able to purchase it. I am waiting for the print release. It’s a long and disciplined road to reach publication. Congratulations. I've written books for education so I can only imagine the grueling demands you must have endured to write for the highly competitive fashion/ style market. However, as you are a thoroughbred of thie industry I know (as your sales confirm) that your book will be a fabulous read when I can get my hands on it. Enjoy your well earned rest. XXX

  12. Happy Springtime! (for those in the Northern Hemisphere; happy vintage for those in the Southern).

Those drawings are exquisite, but all the women depicted are tall and thin, and seem to have considerable funds.
