Ines de la Fressange and the rise of the Instassistant

And so today, a world exclusive - or the nearest this blog is ever going to get to one - Ines de la Fressange is on Pinterest. Well, there's an officiel board for Roger Vivier's first fan but it's probably being curated by an intern. Having read a feature about the rise of celebrity Instassistants in the Standard yesterday, I'm pretty sure IdlF doesn't waste hours of her time faffing around online. Coincidently, I had recently been thinking of getting myself an Inbox Intern to deal with the daily deluge - but actually getting someone else to do the social networking for me, now there's an idea. I need an Instassistant. Just think of the time it would free up. Though obviously, I would never allow anyone else to write this blog - I'm far too anal about that. Anyhow. If the Instassistant de Ines is reading this, you need to sort out the 'Mode' board, I don't think the pictures of treehouses and Twinings tea belong in there. Oh and the comment about the Fendi bag being 'out of my price range' doesn't ring true. Bit sloppy if you ask me, Idlf needs to have a word.

Little Black Jacket.

Anyhow. Here are a couple of images from Ines' Pinterest boards - it's not all Breton tops and Roger Vivier shoes and sadly, there are not many pictures of IdlF, but I did happen to notice that she's repinned one of my images. *Pats self on back*

Margaret Howell tailoring.

That's Not Ines' kitchen.
Brigitte Bardot.
Nice loafers.

Right, I'm off to do some more cyber-stalking. Have a lovely weekend.

  5. I'd had exactly the same thought - this stuff does seem to take over doesn't it? Someone to do some research, social media and a bit of sub-editing would be a godsend.

  6. I am rushing over to Pinterest to add her to my feed. She is the epitome of parisian effortless chic in my opinion. That first pic of her….how DOES she get that effortless half tucked-in thing. When I try that, it just doesn't look as cool…..hmm...

  7. Glad I am not the only one overwhelmed at times with all the blogging and logging that never seems to end. Wouldnt it be wonderful to have a virtual assistant who could just log in to accounts and organize the endless photos and files we seem to have.
