That Is My Age: Exhaustion

Slogan t-shirts aren't usually allowed on this blog but I'm prepared to make an exception for this Asish number. Eighties Katharine Hamnett merchandise is also permitted, but let's try and stay focused here. So. I'm taking a few days offline, to rest my tired body and brain. And read a book. I need to read more books. I've randomly chosen This Book Will Save Your Life which sounds like some crappy self-help manual but isn't. It's a novel by A. M. Homes about a man having a mid-life crisis, in LA, and it's funny.

Back in a bit. Talk amongst yourselves.

  2. Enjoy the book and the blog-break! I'm trying to read a book too - it's all too easy to browse blogs, pinterest, Instagram etc these days and my book pile is getting dusty!

My only slogan t-shirt was 'Relax' in the Frankie Goes To Hollywood days!

  4. She must be wearing her boyfriend's shirt. The adjective is masculine. So maybe she is not tired after all?
    Enjoy your break.

  7. This is my ideal tshirt. I know exactly how you feel. It is definitely an age thing :/ I think once you hit that 40 bracket it starts to get to you. You think you can still do the same amount of stuff as you always did but the top and bottom of it is that you just can't. Katie B @ Minerva Collection – UK Handbags & Jewellery

  8. O my. Glancing at the blog title, I read "That's my age: Exhausted. " Yep, sums it up for me, too.
Just finished reading A.M. Homes May We Be Forgiven. Also funny and crazy and definitely a good read. I'll have to check out what else he(she?) has written.
Enjoy your nap. Wish I was taking one, too.

  10. Feel better soon. I think it's taking over, exhaustion that is. Good for you, taking a break.

  11. I need that T-shirt. And the asymmetric bottom half also suits some of this off-kilter pre-spring angst in the city.

  12. Here's another slogan T-shirt on your blog: I'm embroidering 'meaningless twaddle' on one at the moment. That's my view of slogan T-shirts!
