Christy Turlington Burns in Maison Margiela jumpsuit, available HERE |
It's the fabulous Christy Turlington Burns in an Industrial Onesie (
I'm still loving mine ). The May issue of
Red magazine has the super supermodel on the cover, a gorgeous series of photos by Arthur Elgort and
a feature about the Every Mother Counts charity. Founded by CTB,
Every Mother Counts supports women around the world by raising money for maternal health care. I met Turlington when she first launched a yoga range and I was a fashion editor, needless to say she was lovely and charming and going Goop way before Gwyneth.
TOMS has also teamed up with Turlington's charity on a limited edition range of
Every Mother Counts canvas bags:

I'm going to buy my mum one for her birthday.
I think I will get my daughter one! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty dang awesome. And it's a very good motto to put out there in the world.
ReplyDeleteI'm a longtime CT fan and good for her to champion this cause. But tell me AW, with such supremely abundant genetic gifts and a life so seemingly charmed to make a fairy tale heroine envious, the Hopeless Semanticist in GSL wonders if she's even eligible for the term 'inspirational'?
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice overview of Ms. Turlington. She is beautiful and in a classy, quiet way. So nice she uses her fame to influence people of means to help change the lives of the less fortunate.
ReplyDeleteSHe is stunning inside and out!
ReplyDeleteGSL - I think so and as California Girl says she's using her position to help change lives. Though I'm pleased to see we've moved on from the word thoroughbred...
ReplyDeleteGSL aims to please.
DeleteOne of my favourite ladies...such an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful soul.
Happy Weekend
So good to see her putting her name to such a great cause, I tried to order one (for my mums birthday too) but it only offered Australia and USA as shipping destinations, I will try again when I've eaten #lowbloodsugar
ReplyDeleteCTB is perfection, and as GSL says perfectly "inspirational"!
