Statement Earrings: J.Crew and Lulu Frost

Did you see the photo of Kate Middleton  meeting Jenna Lyons? Er, that's exactly how I felt. And I'm nearly as excited about jewellery designer Lulu Frost's collaboration with J.Crew. That's two of my favourite vintage-inspired accessories suppliers, in one place. Good, eh?

Lulu Frost for J.Crew Crescent earring, £120, available HERE.

Lulu Frost for J.Crew Nova earring, £97, available HERE.

Lulu Frost for J.Crew Beacon studs, £225, available HERE.

My research (looking at Pinterest), brought me to this gorgeous photo of Lee Radziwill from the 1970s. Statement earrings - they're timeless.

  2. A great accessory to have! I find as time goes on, I'm going bolder with all my jewels and just found a huge pair of floral drop vintage earrings. Can't wait to wear them! I think Catherine looks wonderful wearing her earrings, it's just great how she's incorporating bolder pieces in her outfits now.
Sorry to lower the tone but those tassel earrings make me giggle! They both were extremely stylish women.

  3. Totally agree that these statement vintage inspired earnings are timeless. I remember raiding Mother's jewellery box for similar pieces when I was younger. Perhaps it's time to try and locate them again?
    Warm regards

  6. I love big earrings with a simple tee shirt or turtleneck. These are all great. Like Elizabeth ...I raided my mum's jewellry box and have some great things of hers. I also have some chandelier earrings of my own from years ago...hmmm must go dig them out.

I used peruse the Observer Mag on Sundays in the seventies and as my sisters now cruelly remind me, asked them to call me Marisa after Marisa Berenson ! We did live in the Fens .
