There's a lovely interview on ageing with the eternally stylish and inspirational Linda Rodin, on
Into the Gloss this week:
"I think one does feel more liberated and independent when one gets
older. More honest and open with yourself and others. But you still have
insecurities—they're different, but they don't totally go away. But you
reach a point and say 'That’s OK.' In the end, nobody’s perfect, and
we’re all doing the best we can.'"
I'm currently in book editing hell and doing the best I can. My brain is exhausted. Normal service will resume shortly.
Love her!Beautiful, smart and warm.
ReplyDeleteHope all is going well with the editing...so excited for you. I love her look here and her quote and I find it to be so true. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWise words, and oh so true.
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely. And a dead ringer for Lisa at Amid Privilege blog...in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteIndeed to all the above. Sounds as though Ms Rodin has, like most of I imagine, been there & got the tee shirt!
ReplyDeleteShe does, Susan - and I don't know why I haven't made that connection before!
