As I completely missed out last season, I've been keeping my eye on the Ines de la Fressange x Uniqlo autumn collection. Et voila! A new delivery of fabulous patterned shirts and tweed jackets est arriveé.
The tweed jackets are very reasonable, and very Ines. I think I prefer the dark green tweed jacket - though the dark grey herringbone version is oh-so chic, £89.90, available HERE:
The shirts are pretty fab. The polka dot flannel style is popular, hurry there's only size xs left. Available HERE for £29.90
Oh and this patchwork cotton check shirt is now reduced to £14.90, available HERE.
C'est tout.

Love the jackets...especially the dark grey herringbone...may have to purchase this ;)
ReplyDeleteBy the way I went to the 100 Leading Ladies exhibition fabulous...purchased the book as I wanted to find out more!

After buying loads of the summer Uniqlo/ Inès collaboration I was really looking forward to this.
ReplyDeleteSadly everything I tried on looked horrible. The polka dot shirt seemed promising in the photo, but in reality I found the flannel too stiff and cardboard-y, and the tweed jackets were scratchy and uncomfortable.
I wish it wasn't so.
Oh that's good to know Becca. Thank you. I know the type of Uniqlo flannel fabric you mean, better to stick to the cotton shirts, then!
ReplyDeleteJust tried to buy the dark green blazer, but they won't ship to the US, and the US site doesn't have it yet.
ReplyDeleteBut, after reading the scratchy comment, it may be for the best?

I tried a few of the pieces at the Uniqlo in Hong Kong last week. Very cute, just cut a bit long for me.
ReplyDeleteI am crazy for the dotted shirt. xo
ReplyDeleteI am on the hunt for a great tweed jacket! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteKathy - yep, who wants scratchy clothes?
ReplyDeleteDon't you just have to love Ines de la Fressange?
ReplyDeleteI've not yet tried any of the Uniqlo range , Love that spotted shirt as well Patti!
These things are cute but I'm waiting for Uniqlo to bring back the Ines belted shirt dress. I will not rest until I have that dress on my bod!
ReplyDeleteLooked at everything when it first came in last month - and sadly although it looks lovely in photographs, and the shapes are excellent I agree with Becca - the tweed is soooo cheap and itchy and the flannel is like cardboard - what a shame! Loved the summer collection - maybe better luck next year...
ReplyDeleteWell.....I'm glad to say that my Boden tweed jacket from ages ago can now re-appear and I have just bought a black spotted. Shirt from ....Primark!!!!' .....nothing scratchy about either! I also bought some fabulous Art Deco style earrings from Primark. For....One whole pound!
