The Icons: the box top |
Eileen Fisher is celebrating 30 years in business this year and last week I got to join the party. The New York team were over in London launching two new, autumn collections as part of the brand's anniversary. For The Icons collection Eileen Fisher has delved into the archives and recreated six beautiful basics: the box top, the coat, the cardigan, the dress, the tank and the maxi. This gorgeous, minimal range is right up my alley. The other slightly bolder collection (kind of classics with a twist) is called The Fisher Project and has been designed to sit alongside main Eileen Fisher range and add a bit of oomph to all those wardrobe favourites.

And just a quick update: I've made a start on The Book, being a New Lady Author is much, much harder than I imagined. I'm making very slow progress but don't tell my editor.
Enjoy the weekend.
How exciting! I would love to have been there. Love her clothes and her company and cannot wait to see what she is featuring for fall! How wonderful you were able to attend.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for this collection! I think EF's been hitting it out of the park the last couple of seasons. So envious you were able to attend this event!!
ReplyDeleteYour secret is safe.
ReplyDeleteI love EF's pieces, can rarely afford to buy them, but have found some second hand. Simple and chic. xo
I wish EF came in my size ...
ReplyDeleteAs said on Twitter...I need your help. Have been invited to watch Tour De France at Harewood House, Yorkshire. Posh supper on Friday night and watching men in lycra all day Saturday. Not only do I have to behave after copious amounts of free booze, but what do I wear? Hubby needs sartorial advice too. Help!!

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. Good luck with the book. My mantra is 'have the courage to write badly'. Just get some words down and improve it later.
