I find it impossible to walk past a COS store. One minute I'm on the street, the next I'm through the door, transported to a whole new fabulous world, like Lucy in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Rushing to a meeting the other day, I suddenly found myself in the middle of COS checking out the autumn collection. And it's brilliant. I felt quite overwhelmed by all the wonderful things. The clothes are so simple, the colours so strong - and not frightening - this is fashion (or should that be style?) for the more mature person. And perfect for right now. I need to go back and have proper look - and pick up a copy of the magazine because that's fantastic too - in the meantime, here are a few of my favourite things:

Yes! Favourite shop and I can't walk past it either. I love the simplicity of their designs. The only thing I have discovered is that their sales are useless: a real case of "it's in the sales for a very good reason...". ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi there! Great picks, just loving those red trousers they will go with everything! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's embarrassing How often I go into the Long Acre branch....nearly ever lunch break in case I miss out on something!
ReplyDeleteDon't have a Cos outlet here - just as well as I think I could do some serious damage to my purse in Cos. I recently bought a similar pair of red pants in France, which draw wonderful comments every time I wear them. Warm regards.
ReplyDeleteI so agree! I am also magnetically and mysteriously drawn to the Cos webshop (waiting for my latest order to arrive as we speak...) - but somehow I always manage to find something that feels very me, and I also get a lot of compliments on my Cos finds, so it can't be all bad :-)
ReplyDeletevery smart! Love the red trousers and checked jacket - I could make a uniform from that, a very nice one.
ReplyDelete*hangs head in ashamed manner* I have never heard of COS.
ReplyDeleteNice cloooothes though!
COS is also among my favorite. It has that rare blend of understated classic with a twist and cool grown up.
ReplyDeleteAm quite fond of the checked jacket -- must check out their website!
ReplyDeleteAnother argument for making a London stop on the next trip!
ReplyDeleteI like that coat......my own austerity measures forbid me to enter clothes stores however......!!
ReplyDeleteit is so nice.I like that coat. I'm going to check out this site. It is sort of utilizable for me. scottsdale custom drapery | scottsdale interior design
ReplyDeleteI've coveted COS clothing for years. Why, in the name of all that is holy in fashion and consumerism, do they not ship to the U.S. or have a store on the west side of the pond??!! I have money to give to them, they should let me spend it!!
