We're in Arles for a few days visiting the brilliant, annual photography exhibition - and while we're at it, planning a tour of the local Provencal markets for the obligatory cheese and wine fest.
The market places looks gorgeous... and all the tasty cheese...! My friend recently brought me some original Herbes de Provence from a market like that and I use it all the time. Enjoy your time in France!
I see you made sure to visit our Aix market... and that table that we can NEVER resist a photo of caught your eye too! No wonder! We'll be back next week, shopping that very table ;)
J'adore Arles! I've never liked Van Gogh, but I loved Arles when I visited. I think it was Easter, and the streets were littered with broken eggs (a tradition), and they were having a bullfight in the Roman amphitheatre. It was a lovely town!
Prepping for 2 weeks in Paris and several days in Provence, so thanks for the daydreaming material! I'm looking forward to markets, fromage, vin and more.
