Sporty summer sandals
Some people are calling summer's sporty sandals 'ugly shoes'. Not me. I find them quite attractive. This nifty version from Clarks will be going straight onto my Comfy Shoe Pinterest Board.
If memory serves, the last time I sported a pair of white sandals was at primary school with my favourite pale pink Little Crimplene Dress (LCD). I loved that dress. The LCD was an A-line shape with a zip up the front and had a slightly futuristic sixties vibe. Just like these Romantic Moon Sandals. I know, who names these things? This time round I'm thinking white linen pants and a loose shirt come summer, and navy cigarette pants right now. My mum always used to say 'Ne'er cast a clout till May is out,' but that was before global warming and I've managed to get my socks off and Birkenstocks on once this year already.
Romantic Moon sandals, £49.99 from Clarks, available HERE

I like them, and will wear them plenty (we have eight months of sandal weather here, don't hate me). xox
ReplyDeleteWearing these sandals would be a pleasure. Love the design! Still in my boots in Denver!
ReplyDeleteI like this sandal and think it is really stylish...I would wear something like this a lot in our Texas heat.
ReplyDeleteI would wear them if they didn't have an ankle strap. Ankle straps do no one any favours.
ReplyDeleteLove the white sole…great find!
ReplyDeleteI remember those zips, they had big rings on to pull up and down - had quite forgotten that till you mentioned it!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kari re the ankle straps and envious of the tall and long-limbed who can wear them.
I think I kind of like these shoes.

oh wow, I had a version of that dress that was orange with ric rac around the edges
ReplyDeleteoh those are cute!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course, these are not available on the Clarks US site...and neither were the Orla Kiely. Just the frump-tastic Clarks styles. :-(
ReplyDeleteCan't wear the ankle strap. My sandal of choice is the Rondini La Tropezienne. I love those sandals so much; and the older the sandals get, the more comfy and beautiful they become--hey--kinda like us!!!
ReplyDeleteThat being said, my dog ate one of the straps just yesterday morning and said sandal is now in my suitcase to bring to Rondini to be fixed when we are in France this coming summer!
Loving the styling at Clark's at the moment! Xx
