David Hockney exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery

As a big David Hockney fan I'm dead chuffed there's an exhibition of his work just down the road from That's Not My Age Mansions. Hockney, Printmaker at Dulwich Picture Gallery celebrates the 60th anniversary of the artist's first print show. All the highlights are here, from his mother, the local chip shop and the English weather to LA swimming pools and fabulous friends like Celia Birtwell and Ossie Clarke. It's so good, I'm planning another visit.

Hockney's trend-defying dress sense is brilliant too - his love of colour and attention to detail translates into a wonderfully natty wardrobe.

Hockney, Printmaker is on at the Dulwich Picture Gallery until 11 May 2014.

  2. Damn! We'll be in London this spring, but not 'til early June. I would have loved to see this. . . but thanks for sharing some of it, at least.

  4. This is why I need a pied a terre in London. Do you think I can find a nice one in Bloomsbury and still afford the private jet?
