Rachel Weisz likes comfy shoes


She may be beautiful, brainy and married to Bond but when it comes to footwear, Rachel Weisz has the same problem as a lot of other women:

' I love Rick Owens, The Row, Stella McCartney, Narciso Rodriguez, Alexander McQueen, Rag & Bone, Hussein Chalayan, Jason Wu,' the 42-year-old actress told the Times, 'But finding comfy shoes that look good is the challenge.'

So, if the Bourne Legacy star is reading this, That's Not My Age recommends Grenson and Church's for classic brogues and loafers, and Clarks for desert boots.

    Yes! comfy shoes please ... the desert boot is a classic that returns season after season. I have recently even seen them in a wedge (not sure of the comfort - but trendy)... Wishing you a great day! xo HHL

    I wear my Classic Willits black & white leather saddle oxfords with everything...those red brogues are sweet!

    I live in brogues, I can't walk in heels at all, I'm partial to a kitten heel every now and then but even then I carry around a pair of flats in my bag

    I love Acne Pistol boots and find them very comfortable. I'm not that happy in something totally flat.

    I love a comfortable shoe but it must also look great...the two are not exclusive. I can remember my first pair of Birkenstocks. My mother looked at them in amazement and asked me, "Are you going to wear those out in public?" I thought they were very cool. I love my Clarks and if she is married to Bond, she must know something about style!

    Kathy - I did actually find a photo of Rachel Weisz in Acne Pistol boots but decided to stick to flats. I've got a pair & don't actually find them that comfortable, if I'm on my feet all day. But then I do live in flat shoes.

    Barbara - I love a pair of Birkenstocks.

    Patti & Vix - wouldn't it be brilliant to have a go in James Bond's 'copter? Just like Her Maj.

    Blundstone boots. My 11 year old son and I each have a pair, his brown, mine black. I had to replace mine that were bought about 15 years ago this year. The sole finally split on a coastal walk. You can wear them anywhere, I'd say.
