Quote of the week: Carine Roitfeld




With a Ped Egg in one hand and a bottle of Chanel Mimosa in the other, women everywhere are preparing to unleash their feet for summer. Fortunately, style expert, Carine Roitfeld, 55, is on hand with advice on what not to wear:

    In Texas, summer means you own many sandals...all colors...all styles....we do not do mules either!!

    Very few people have the beautiful, smooth heels necessary to pull off mules - so I agree too!

    I love mules, they make me feel like Lollobrigida.

    Pam, TWF and Patti - La Roitfeld is right, they're impossible to walk in.

    B&P - ah yes, fine on a film set but in the real world? Running for a bus is not easy in a pair of slippery mules! The Ped Egg is scary, bit like taking a cheese grater to your feet.
