Remember this? It's Jane Birkin's bag. Last year, That's Not My Age met the fabulous singer/actor/charity worker and had a proper close-up look at the iconic Hérmes handbag, you can read all about it here. But enough about me, the real Birkin bag is being auctioned on eBay to raise money for the Japanese Red Cross and help support people effected by last month's earthquake and tsunami.
So get this, artists and songwriters from across the EMI 'family' have donated over 200 personal items, including a guitar from Jeff Bridges, 35 signed David Bowie albums and er, if anyone's interested Chris Martin's Viva la Vida jacket. Actually, I'd rather have Tinie Tempah's pink blazer - can't wait till he grows up!
Tons of wonderful memorabilia is on offer - and a day on tour with Simple Minds - the sale runs until 21 April.
Oh blimey, Jane's bag eh? that's a bit of a draw, how much will it go for do you think? Ax
