Worn the wrong way, a metallic biker jacket could look a bit Rock of Ages, but Jane Fonda gets it just right. Spot on. At the LA premier of The Newsroom, Aaron Sorkin's new show, the 74-year-old superstar owns the red carpet - and highlights just how precious gold really is. Choose the right tone and a metallic jacket will light up the face, brighten the complexion and make the wearer look absolutely fabulous. Fonda sensibly let's the jacket do all the work, whilst the rest of the outfit - beautifully tailored pants, a silk camisole and bronze flats - kicks back and relaxes. Magnificent.

I think she was smart to wear this with white too. Any other color and it might have looked harsh or even a bit tacky.
She seems to get it right every time. I've never really seen her in a "mistake" as such. I do love her "spunky" style.

Obviously in the minority, I am not a fan of la Fonda. For someone who urged us all to "grow old naturally" she is looking way too plastique. I love the outfit; I just don't love who's wearing it.
The collar is "popped" to put the emphasis on her face!

Jane Fonda´s pictures are always " perfect ". However, she is a celeb, and she does what is expected from her.
Her clothing and looks are far from us " ordinary women ". I accept that.
Were I dressed and wore her makeup, I´d feel foolish, to say the least.
She can carry it off - it does looks great on her.
