What with French Vogue featuring 10-year-old models and the recent kerfuffle about airbrushing - yes, I'm talking about you L'Oréal - realistic, un-retouched fashion images are hard to come by. But, once you get past 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld on the cover, there's a wonderful accessories shoot in the A/W edition of Love magazine. As the stand-first goes, 'ornately wrought rings are at their most powerful in the hands of those who have lived.'

Truly beautiful.
Those hands look very majestic and noble and they're nice to see because most women of a certain age try to hide theirs or perform tricks (Joan Collins) like raising your arm before a photo is taken.
I feel, that the hands in the pictures have really earned the showy rings.
My right hand fingers are crooked ( traumas ), but yet I wear my biggest ring on my right hand ring finger - without shame.

Wow. I know my mother stopped wearing her favourite rings 'because my hands are ugly now' and I think that's so sad. I already have crone hands because they've always been thin and veiny but it won't stop me wearing rings!
Absolutely love this, I've always had crone's hands too, so many people comment on them - rude hounds!
I can remember as a child being facinated by my grandmothers aging hands. Too me they where beauriful. As are those images. Thanks for sharing.

About time a realistic promotion was used and this is great.. Makes such an impact (and I seriously lust after the ring first pic on right). Also from your previous post am very partial to a Big Pant too (Mr SE does not like them but they are mega comfortable and I think can look very stylish as the ones in your last photograph). And would LOVE to meet up if I can fit in a trip to London when I am back in UK - great idea TNMA! XX
