How good does Helen Mirren look here? A Dolce & Gabbana leopard print maxi dress and leather biker jacket could end up looking a bit tacky, a bit Jackie Collins. But the 65-year-old actor pulls it off by opting for simple, slicked back hair and natural, glowing make-up. Snake might be the new print on the block but as Mirren proves, leopard is still a bit of an animal.
That's Not My Age already has a leopard print coat, dress and long-sleeved top, so now I'm thinking shoes. I've narrowed it down to these cute kitten heels from LK Bennett and a pair of lovely slippers from River Island:

This is singularly spooky! I was just googling this exact same pic earlier as I bought a leather jacket this afternooon (it's evening here now in Australia) and my niece who was with me said "You need the leopard print dress now, you know like Helen Mirren wore, it would suit you!" !! And here you are a couple of hours later with it on your blog! Love both of the leopard shoes you showed - the kittens particularly.... x
She looks incredible. I loev both those shoes, you would wear them totally differently. I have a similar pair of leopard kitten heels from M&S and they are so useful for when I want to look ladylike but still be able to walk. And the loafers would be great for wearing with jeans or a pleated skirt. Sorry, that is no help at all! x
I would pick the kitten heels, but as Penny said, it really depends what you want to wear them with.

Just wow to Helen Mirren, breaking the "rules" and looking fabulous. For the shoes, I like both, but vote for #1, the kitten heels.

she looks SO great and as far as the shoes? omg, they are both perfect. so i vote for both. i'm no help.
HM looks great. I like her dress ( the part I see ), but leather coats and jackets are not in my favor at " this certain age ".
I can´t help you with the shoe choice, since I don´t - sorry - like either pair of them.
This has given me renewed confidence in wearing my leopard print shirt dress. Was not sure if I really liked it but if she can maybe I can. I normally stick to shoes and scarves in leopard print.
God she looks amazing.. I actually like the loafers.. but then as you know I am not a great kitten heel fan xx
