When I reach my nineties, I want to be like Frederika Goldberger. The grandmother (known to her family as Mamika) and retired style consultant turned cult figure who likes to dress as a super-hero for grandson, Sacha Goldberger's wonderful photographs.

'For me, taking the photographs is a way of making her live forever,' says Sacha Goldberger, ' Because then everyone can see her and know a bit about her. And then, when she is no longer here, I won't feel too alone. All this is about making her eternal. It is a tribute to her.'
The book, Mamika: Grande Petite Grand-Mére is out now.

Aren't they great. I saw the photos and article too. Funny how her friends don't seem to approve -probably jealous as the photographer says. How exciting her life must be at this age.
Where was said article? I'm sure I've seen her but can't for the life of me remember where. I like the eye-make up and what an inspiration. I often wish for more dressing up opportunities. It's easy to fall into identi-kit mode.
Love.
Wow - she looks amazing, what an inspiration! My friend's grandad is 105 and still goes on his exercise bike every day! When he fails to hear the doorbell, they know he's in the back room on the bike! Incredible. xx
I want to be her when I grow up!
She sounds great - everyone should have a granny like that!
Oh my goodness, that is WONDERFUL. I am going to buy that book for my mother post haste.
Truly genius. Love it on every level. Xxxx
