That's Not My Age can't wait till it gets cooler and I can start wearing 'the beast' again:
But in the meantime, I need a little animal to liven up my pared-down life. So I've been thinking about accessories, and wondering whether or not there's room in my wardrobe for a pair of eye-catching desert boots?
When it comes to animal print, a little goes a long way (read my rules for living with leopard here) so I'd wear them with slim black trousers, faded jeans or Jane Birkin-style khakis and a simple black blazer.
What do you think? Are they spot on or a print too far?

I've got zebra peep-toe heels and leopard ballet-type flats but if I saw those Clarks, I know I couldn't resist. And I'd follow your styling suggestions to a T. . .
I love them to bits. Great shoes always make an otherwise pared down outfit interesting.
I absolutely love your coat!! Where's it from? I wish I could wear leopard print but it doesn't suit me so I just do accents.

I saw a fab leopard print coat in TK Maxx yesterday, having just bought a blue military style one, I had to tear myself away, but it keeps coming back..
Leopard prints are a bit too exotic for my geographical position. The shoes look comfortable to wear though!

Love The Beast. I bought a hip length 50s fur coat with 3/4 sleeves several years ago -- for those days when I need a Dr Zhivago/Royal Tennenbaums moment.
